Program opening and closing quickly in XP?

Hi,

Someone I know is trying to run some business program in XP. When he does he hears a quick beep sound, the program flashes on screen and then its gone as quick as it came...

Any ideas?

Recently upgraded to SP2
 
First of all you may receive more help with this matter if you post it in the software forum.

Was the program installed before SP2 or did it start doing this after SP2?

Check the task manager to see if the process is running.

Check the bottom right near the clock for programs that may auto-hide themselves.
