Program like webshots, any alternatives?

I'm looking for a program that will take the pictures I have taken with my digital camera, and pick one each day to place on the desktop. Also, this program works as a screen saver too, creating a slide show out of those pictures. One final thing is that it will stretch or resize the pictures to fit them on my 1024x768 desktop. I used to use Webshots, but it looks like the new version sucks, with major spyware and a resource hog. So does anyone know of any alternative or a link to version 1 of webshots? thanks
