Hi Guys , I've appreciated all the help I've gotten over the last few months here .
I've got a bit of a problem ; Is there any way I could record the change in registry settings and inf files to create my own msi file ? I ask this because , we've got a database program running on some of the extremely important computers , and due to the fact that these computers are fairly old [Either the HDD die , or they get Run Time Error 53's] . I want to create my own custom installation file . The program requires that you make changes to the ODBC as well as use regsvr32 to register some components. To learn the thing off by hand is almost freakin impossible for me ; It took me close to 15 pages , to write down all the settings on the computer !!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
