Program Files Question

I recently put together a new computer with a new hard drive. Everything is working fine. But I notice on my C drive [ as shown in photo ] I have two Program files.1- is program files and the other 2- is program files [x86 ] . I went from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit when I upgraded.
Can one of these set of Program Files be deleted?

The folder named "Program Files" is the native 64-Bit applications

The folder named "Program Files (x86)" is where 32-Bit applications install too

So yes, you should and need to have both folder on a 64-Bit OS. 🙂
