profiling of arab americans?

How do you feel about possible surveillance , or "profiling" of Arab Americans?

It's not only of Arab Americans... it's of anyone who looks middle eastern...

I think treating them bad is wrong. But if they are in line at the airport I want security to give them a very hard look. I would think they would understand that.

That's called racial profiling, and it's wrong. How about profiling all the white people too because of Tim McVeigh? May be the cops should stop every white male in a car because that could be a bomb going to a federal building.

If some white people were suspects in the crime I would hope they would look harder at whites. I white people were the suspect it would be stupid to waste your time looking at blacks and arab's.

And I don't think they are stoping every Arab driving in a car.

well... if four arabs get onto a plane then i think it is totally acceptable to look at them seriously. other than those similiar instances then no.

Typically the highway patrol does not pay attention to a family of four driving down the interstate in thier mini van. But if they see two guys driving together in a minivan with out of state plates, driving the speed limit. That may warrant a second look.

People of middle eastern descent attacked us. These terrorists belong to militant islamic groups. They don't typically recruit caucasions. The FBI needs to gather intelligence. I think they can narrow down the profile considerably and not watch every Arab in this country. The terrorists are still here, so rascist or not it will probably have to be done.
