Professors screwing up/losing grades?

I don't know what's going on this semester, but my final grade is screwed up in two of my classes because of mistakes or mishaps (I'm still in the process of figuring it out).

1. An online MIS class has an incorrect (lower) grade for one of my assignments, just enough points to lower me down a letter grade. I'm 99.9% certain that my grade should be higher on this assignment, and I emailed the TA, but my access to the course is locked now since the semester is over. I can see that I have new course mail (that I recieved after the course was locked) on the main page, even though I can't actually view it. Emailed professor... waiting for response.

2. Quant Tools II (business stat class): Final grades have been posted on the class website, but, suprise! My final exam grade is missing, which has greatly dropped my final grade (obviously). Emailed TA, he's looking for my final right now.

Argh, why does this crap happen to me? Too stressful 🙁

A friend of mine who I'm taking a course with is taking it for the third time. The first time, he lost all his work after turning it in, but the professor hadn't graded it yet and it dissappeared. The second time, the professor lost it all.

Uhh wow, I would be taking it up with the university if something like that happened to me.
I really don't know what I can do if my final isn't found though... I mean, they could claim that I never took it or something, and there really isn't much I can do about it.

Don't you sign something or fill a form out when you take an exam? Those are usually kept seperate from the actual exams. Atleast they were when I TAed courses. But then again, we never lost exams either.

No, I didn't sign anything. It was just a normal scantron test with name, ID#, etc.

I know what you mean. For me, my problems come from work rather than school. This past week I had a project to present in every class, and next week is finals. Just so happens my company sent me to a cert training that is out of the state and I didn't realize I was going to miss my last week of classes until I was already packed up and headed out the door. 🙁

Hope you get your stuff worked out.
