Professor Suspended After Threatening Class

Kinda strange, but quote from article..........Law enforcement officers transported Houston to the Lafayette Parish coroner's office to be evaluated for possible involuntary commitment to a mental health facility.

 
You gotta love the Louisiana cops taking a living person to the coroner for a psychiatric evaluation. Am I missing something here? 😕
 
I lived in La for 19 years. It's a different world.

The coroner performed a psych. eval. standard for Louisiana.

While that guy clearly lost it, there's probably more to the story. A lot of college students are make life difficult for their Professors *in class*.

I remember when I was taking physics, there was this one girl who sat in front of me who would always get a call on her cell phone in the middle of class. 'm not joking, this happened almost every day. She would stand up, walk down the aisle, past the professor, and out into the hallway to continue her conversation. Unbelievably distracting and rude. Took up a good 1 minute of class time whenever it happened, and there were about 120 people in the class. But the Prof. never said a word. He just kept quiet. I don't see how he managed to keep his cool, because I would have told the bitch not to come back.
 
"Then he told us if we got out of our seats he's gonna kill us. He went on the black board and wrote '911 now,\'? so we were really in fear for our lives," Spears told KATC-TV.

Spears said Houston slapped a student and then told his class he was God.

A bomb dog was also brought in to check for explosives, but nothing was found.
 
my algebra teacher got fired for hitting a student with a yardstick, he was one mean and rude sob. he had good methods of teaching and would work on one problem the entire class to get you to learn it if he had too. to bad he was an ahole though
