I went to Wrestlemania for free this year and STILL thought it sucked. Bor-ing!

They do have some kind of insane sound system they take with them, though. My ears were ringing for two days after that show.

you call that professional? its all drama, pre-determined, tailor made for today's youth.

I completely agree.

That's why I made the distinction between amateur wrestling (which takes a hell of a lot of skill and talent) and professional wrestling (which is just a bunch of goons).

Professional Wrestling is a bunch of goons unlike Hockey (toothless Canadians fighting), Basketball (Manslaughter Charges and Cocain) or maybe Pro Football (Steriods and Drug Use). Ahhhh nevermind enjoy them all someones gotta pay the million dollar saleries for these real pillar of the community types. :confused:

WWF is/was never intended to be passed as "sport". The fact that everything is staged is no big secret. Therefore, you can't compare it to football, hockey, basketball, or whatever sport you want to watch, simply because it's not a sport (it would be like comparing a rock concert to hockey, calling the rock concert stupid because it's not a manly sport like hockey.). Professional wrestling is intended by the WWF to be purely entertainment and the wrestlers are purely entertainers. The Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. Even the company is called World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. That being said, please feel free to poke as much fun as you want at the WWF. I don't watch it. I just wanted to clarify for those not understanding what professional wrestling is.
