My son has been into it lately and wants to take it to the next level.

He says that some professionals custom make them too but don't think we have the tools for that.

Is there a better grade available for purchase?

if u put some grease or oil on the inside of it, it spins really easily. you have to take all the pieces out, and if he's into rubiks, im sure he knows how to take it apart.

never heard of any other rubiks cubes than the standard ones, but im sure theres a few more techniques other than oiling on google somewhere

EDIT: ^^^ oh ya, they make 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5. the 3x3's are simple as hell after u know how to do them. from what ive read, the 4 and 5 block ones use similar techniques for solving, but theyre more delicate and they look intimidating :)
