Profanity on tv question.

Why do they quiet out the hole and only say the ass part of asshole on tv shows? Is the hole of the ass that much worse than the ass in its entirety?

Maybe ass and hole taken separately are wholesome, good words suitable for television. But when put together are a no-no. 😕

On The Shield they have every single word except the F word.

On CityTV they have every single word, including the F word, and they show soft core porn at night on fridays (full out T&A, no frontal though). AND, they're thinking of starting up a naked news show, ala nakednews.com 😀

And we can get this channel without cable here 🙂

No no no... It's Yippie kiya kiya 🙂

Remember in die hard 3 when bruce willis was forced to go to harlem with that sign that said "I hate N*ggers" on it? Well, when they show that on TV they edit it so the sign says: "I hate everyone.' 😀 😀 😀
