Prodigy Fit Questions

Going for a new $1000 mITX build, and I have a few questions about the fit in the Prodigy.

CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo

GPU: MSI 7870 HAWK

From build logs, pictures, and reviews, it seems the placement of the CPU socket compared to the PCI-E slot means large CPU coolers can bump into a large GPU.
The MSI HAWK has a "GPU reactor" on the back of the card, resulting in a bump, how big of an issue is this going to be with the Hyper 212 Evo?

Second, Anandtech's review of the Prodigy says that a 140mm PSU doesn't fit, and to get a 120mm one, I don't understand what measurement this is referring to, is it fan size?

Non, standard PSUs will not fit. So the extra long 1000+ watt PSUs, no go.

Standard is: 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) x 6.3"(L)

No experience regarding your air cooler issue, but it is quite tight in there, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the massive CPU coolers, that extend beyond the mounting holes for the cooler, would be an issue. But in general, as long as your cooler does not extend beyond that square of the mounting holes, it will fit.

I think you'll want to find some top down pictures of the Hyper 212 installed on a 1155 platform. Or get the dimensions of the socket and the dimensions of the hyper 212 see how much space it takes up.

You also know how big the mobo is and where the PCIE slot is and how bit it is. You have all the variables you need to figure out what will fit.

After searching through a lot of reviews, I've decided to search for Bitfenix Prodigy build logs, as most mobo reviews deal with performance and not fit.

The closest picture I can find is: http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=44585&page=2 but it seems to be the ASUS P8Z77-I mobo, on which the CPU socket is further "up" compared to the ASRock one.

On the ASUS mobo there seems to be plenty of space for the GPU, so if I must, I'll spend an extra $40 on the mobo.

The hyper 212 WILL fit for sure. But it doesn't play well with the Asus mobo

So the ASRock mobo is fine? Even with the HAWK's non-standard 5mm protrusion?

What do you mean that the Hyper 212 doesn't play well with the ASUS mobo?

Edit:
Discovered a potential problem between the Cooler and the Mobo: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/340468-28-hyper-asrock-z77e-problem#t2629010
The OP's build in that thread is a Z77E-ITX and Hyper 212 Plus, and this does not fit, one poster mentions that the Evo has the same setup, any confirmation on that?
