Procrastinate for the Rest Of My Life?

Here I am senior year in college, procrastinating. Holy jeezes, I thought I would stop freshman year in high school. Am I doomed to to procrastinate my whole life? I pay bills on last day they are due, I send rebates on the post-marked day, I study the morning of the exam, I do everything at the last minute. Is anyone out there like me, am I doomed?

Yea, I am doing the same thing. I noticed I have a shitload of stuff to do, I've been awake since about 12:30 Sunday... It's 5:14 AM Monday... If I can make it to 6:00PM I'll be fine...

I always pay my bills a few days ahead of time.

But I procrastinate with everything else (especially school)

god damn, i knew it. 2 finals today, and haven't started. I am going to be a C student for the rest of my life

well, you're a senior, so you'll only be a c student for another year... unless you REALLY start procrastinating, and then ya, you will be a c student the rest of your life 😛

Check out wikipedia's entry for Procrastination.

This part was interesting:
Severe procrastination and/or ADD, and the intense desire to escape that comes along with it, can lead to internet addiction or computer addiction. In this instance the individual has a compulsion to avoid reality by surfing the web or playing video games (see Game addiction) or looking at pornography.

Wow that sounds like me. I used to be a procrastinator till the internet came along. Now I procrastinate until it's physically impossible to get done whatever it was I was supposed to do and I end up dropping classes, etc. :Q Need meds. 😱

I promise I'll find something to distract me, even if it involves staring at a wall and freaking out cuz a 5 page paper is due in 4 hours. 😉

I'm 25 years old, graduated college, and I'm still a gigantic procrastinator. I was one of those people who never did anything till just before it had to be finished. I offset this by taking things that came naturally to me (computer classes, biology, history, etc...) and avoiding those that did not (higher maths, chemistry, physics, etc...) The unfortunate side effect of this is that I have very little of the product I paid thousands of dollars for still residing in my brain, but eh, if I didn't remember it, it wasnt worth knowing 😛
