Hey, im getting a new system and was originally planning on getting a 2.8C proc with 1gig of HyperX 3500 RAM, but i read a whole bunch of memory and topics and stuff and got myself confused.

Im not planning on overclocking right now but i wil when the computer starts to get a little sluggish, so would it be better for me to get a 2.6 or a 2.8?? the 2.6 o/c's better doesnt it??.

Now about the RAM, i read a post where people said OCZ PC3700 RAM is the best for 865 chipset.....but then i also read a post where ppl said PC3700 RAM is bad because they all have bad timings. SO should i go with PC3500 RAM?? or PC3700 RAM?? and what company??

Also since im not planning on overclocking for a while, if i get PC3500 or PC3700 RAM, will it run at DDR 400 automatically?? Or what do i do?

i think you are gonna get similar OC's with both the 2.6 and 2.8C
for the ram, pc3500 is sufficent, but you may wanna go 3700 for a little future proofing. Corsair XMS, HyperX, and OCZ are all good. all can/will run as DDR400 until you plan on ocing

Thanks for clearing that up

Now i was planning to put my setup in an Antec Sonata case, will this be cool enough for when i plan to O/C?? it comes with a 120mm exhaust fan, with a space to put a 120mm intake fan (i think).

If this isnt cool enough, is there a case i can get with a PSU for 150$.
