Processor/Motherboard System Build Question

I'm getting ready to order parts to build a pair of new systems. They will be used primarily for World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, Strategy, RPG-style gaming and general internet usage. The basics for each build are as follows:

4GB DDR2-1066 RAM
ATI HD4830 Video Card
22x DVD +/- RW
320GB SATA HD
530 Watt Power Supply (Active PFC & 80+ Bronze Efficiency Certified)
Antec Three Hundred Case (may change)

The question I'm stuck on is the motherboard/cpu to use. I've narrowed it down to one of these pairings:

AMD Phenom X3 8750 Black Edition + AMD 770/780G Motherboard

-OR-

Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 + Intel G43/P43 Motherboard

Benchmarking on games seems to be split, with games taking advantage of the 3rd core being faster on the AMD, and those that don't take advantage of more than two cores being faster on the Intel. Pricing is about $10-15 more for the Intel combo, so not an issue in the decision for me.

Opinions?

If you're going dual core get an Intel.

Triple core doesn't offer enough over dual to be worth it, either stick with dual core or move up all the way to a quad.
