Processor & Heat Sink Mating........

Hi All

My new kit's just been delivered 🙂

I had a quick look at the AMD 1.4gig processor and the heatsink/cooler assembly (but not at the same time, stupidly!) and have a question;

It didn't look like a very good mating surface for between the chip and the heatsink. Where do I put the heatsink compound?

I guess it'll be obvious when I come to build it - just don't want anything to delay me!

....and games that fly, hopefully....think I'll notice a difference between this and my generic mobo'd P3 450? 😀
