I know that Pentium 4's are usually faster than celerons because of the FSB, cache, and clock speed
but ive seen celerons with 512k cache, 533 mhz fsb just like other petnium 4's out there, also its at the same speed, 2.6 ghz...

so then whats the difference between these two processors, besides the celeron is cheaper?

There are no desktop celerons with 512K cache.

There are new Celeron D's with 256K cache and 533fsb based on the Prescott core.

Maybe you saw a mobile celeron, which could have 512k cache?

Also, cache associativity (I don't think I spelled that right) is cut in half on celerons which essentially slows access to cache.
