I just got a KA266-R (IWILL) motherboard. I was wondering what processor to get to go along with it. In the manual it says that it can support Athlon Chips up to 1.2 Ghz. On a vendors website online, I found this:
AMD Thunderbird / Duron 600MHz - 1.5GHz (200MHz & 266MHz FSB) . I was wondering what processor I should get for this, and if it could run an XP processor and up to what speed. I have built several systems before, but I think that the documentation is just old on this, and wondering if anyone could provide some insight.
