Processor Advice

I will be using my new box for programming / gaming / virtual PC

Will the cache size difference between the dual core 4400 and 4600 make much difference for general computing (see above).

I know Virtual PC loves ram so I would rather spend the extra money on that.

OC'ing ? Get an Opteron 170 or 175. (I would say 165, but they are almost impossible to find now)

Theyre totally discontinued the 165 that is. I called a warehouse today and they contacted AMD and it's been discontinued. The 170 is still just as good if not better, just a tad more expensive.
