Proc and Mobo Compatability?

Will a Slot A TBird 800 and Asus K7V RM work together? Will there be problems or should it be stable?

Maybe...maybe not. The KX133 boards, upon which the K7V-RM is of that variety, are not known to handle the slot A Tbirds very well. But I have been told that they should be able to handle upto 800mhz. So I'm thinking you'll be ok with it. The Slot A Tbirds really work best on the AMD irongate boards...like the ASUS K7M.

According to the Asus website yes, it supports the 500 to 1gig Athlon slot A processors.

yes that is true...but that is the classic slot A Athlon, not the slot A Tbird.
