does anyone know a cure for kt7a raid motherboard and a creative geforce2 titanium video card because when I plug in my card and switch on I get nothing no display and no post bleep this is happening to me and my friend as we have the same set up I'm getting no help from Abit them selfs they say they carnt repet this prob????

Can anyone help.

please list all of the components you have, including which slots they are in, have you booted to windows? if you have a pci vid card boot to windows and install the via 4 in 1's, you don't get the beep associated with post either? has this system ever worked? are you sure you aren't grounding out? did you install the spacers correctly? run through the checklist and see if taht turns up anything, if not post again and we will see what we can do 😉 (I have this board and had to do a couple of things to get it working well, but I need to know where you stand right now.)

OK first off all I have a voodoo 3 3000 video card and the system works fine no probs.

I only get a problem when I put the video card in the agp slot a creative gefroce 2 titaniumvideo card.

The geforce2 works fine in any other computer system I have tried it on a gigabyte and an asus motherbord all boots and runs a okay.

So I have heard that the agp slot on the Abit KT7A-RAID motherboard does not have enough power to run this card.

Can anyone help as anyone had the same problem ??

was that voodoo 3 a agp or pci? gimme a min and I will link you up to the via agp fix.

via 4 in 1's install these first

also what operating system are you running, that will help in diagnosing the problem (if you are running win2k there is another download you need) oh btw anyone who says that this board can't supply enough power to the agp slot for this card is crazy 😉

ok I have a agp voodoo 3 and ive put the lastest drivers on but no results i,ve tried various bios tweaks using creatives technical help and no joy the card wont let my system post bleep and there is no display the monitor stays on stanby.

ps

I have tried to boot my computer with no cards in the slots only the agp card no luck it dosent matter wot opperating system i have cos its not getting to it.
