friend is having problems with his comp
its a tbird 1.1ghz 100x11 on a asus a7m266 mobo. he bought a new stick of 2100 ram and tried to push it to 133. comp froze and he restarted it. usually his bios resets it self and starts up clean but this time it didn;t. so i told to clear cmos manually but still didn't work. any suggestions?

When clearing the Cmos. Make sure you dis connect the power cord to the power supply if you are using the onboard reset. Still no post, try a different stick of ram.

Also when booting up hold down the 'Insert' key, this should revert the bios to lowest settings. If still no post then like previously stated try another stick.

friend got it to work. he unplugged the computer and left the battery out the whole nite. thx for the advice though
