I have a belkin pre-n router, It works great when linking to other computers in a lan setup, without using the internet. But when connected to the net ( mainly will gaming), it lags terriblely. The ping on games such as CSS is good but it skips continuously. It also does this on a wireless connection. Whiule browsing the internet works fine gameing produces disappointing results.
I'm pretty sure there is something wrong here simply because there is no excuse that the preformance should be this bad. especialy on a direct connection. By the way i'v also tried it on several different internet connectios, DSL, Cable, at different places and it does the same. Assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated. .
