Problems with Windows XP Windows Update -FIXED

I had this problem before SP1, and was hoping that SP1 would fix it, but did not.
Whenever I go into Windows update, the Critical Updates page always says 0, Driver Updates always say 0, and the Windows section is completely grayed out. View Installation History and Personalize Windows is also grayed out. I started using auto update, and it seems to get the critical stuff ok, but nothing else.
Any ideas??

Nevermind. I started searching other posts and found the problem. No language defined. *grumble*
