I have got this weird problem with my Hauppauge 1600 tuner card. When I try to watch a HD QAM channel in Windows 7 Media center, every 10-30 seconds I get a second or two of digital artifacts. I took an example screenshot Here. Anyway, if I stream the same QAM channels to my Xbox 360 the video plays fine without any artifacts. If I record the video and play it back on my laptop and another desktop they both play fine. It only has this problem on my desktop which has a ATI HD 4870 video card. The other desktop and my laptop have Nvidia cards. All three systems are running windows 7. I tried the Vista drivers and the windows 7 beta ATI drivers and both do the same thing. Anyone got an idea to what might be causing this?

Yeah its a Beta OS so it still has some small issues. Just report the issue to MS and hope its fixed before Win 7 hits retail.

Ya, I think the issue is with ATI because the recorded shows work fine on other windows 7 machine with Nvidia cards. I didn't know if someone had a setting or tweak I could do. I also have a Pinnacle USB 801e se tuner that I am using for OTA stations. The HD OTA stations are fine in media center. I will also go ahead and send it to Microsoft so they can check it out.
