problems with winamp

for some strange reason, if I play winamp, it freezes and blows up my computer.. does this happen to anybody or do u know whats wrong? thanks!

Have you tried the latest version? Of course it is the incarnation of Satan so that probably won't help (ver#: 2.666)

Also try reinstalling it?

I think its something about my comp, because sonique and liqiudadiuo also blow up.... happen to anybody?

I had this problem, but it was because I was using a Vortex soundcard with a Via motherboard. Apparently they don't mix.
