Problems with Win2k server and Iomega(plextor) 12x10x32

I can't get this burner to burn under Win2k. It will read everything i throw at it fine but won't burn a CD in Nero or Clone. Anyone ever had this problem before and if so how did you fix it? ASPI layers are all up to date DMA is checked so rule those out. My whole system is IDE so there's no SCSI.

Yes Nero and Clone both see the drive. Second it tries buring it spits the disk back out at me. Tried different cd's thinking i might have got a bad one and still does it. I jump back over to Win98se and it burns just fine so i know its a win2k problem and not the burner itself.
