It seems that after I use Windows Update to update my system, it still shows that it needs to be updated. I have tried this several times and it always shows the same thing. Whats going on?? Suggestions, Comments are welcome. Thanks,
Well...you have to choose which updates you want to install. You build a list and then it downloads and installs them all at once. Maybe you're not selecting all of the updates on the list? (Just FYI-you probably won't need to install every single update, some are hardware/software specific and you may not require it)
I have had trouble with WindowsXP update, half the time it says it has installed the update but it could not have done because the download time was just a few seconds. Plus they still show up in the list. I have put it down to large amounts of traffic due to the recent release of XP. Shold settle down in a few weeks.
