Problems with Via 4in1's and Gigabyte GA-7VRX (Rev 2.0)

Hi guys, I have a Gigabyte GA-7VRX with the KT333 chipset that i have tried numerous times to install the Via 4in1 drivers on without success (I think). How can I tell if everything installed? I wanted the 4in1's to install the IDE drivers (box was checked) and it will not install them at all. What gives? I have tried two different sets of 4in1's, both with this same problem. Why doesn't VIA make a d@mn driver suite that you can remove from add/remove programs..... This pisses me off to no end.... Sorry for the rant guys, can anyone please help? 🙂

While I can't really help you with your problem, I can add that I have a 7VRX rev 1.1 that installs the 4in1s without a problem. It has numerous other problems - notably I need to turn it on and off at the wall every time I do a hard shutdown or the bios is corrupted/the keyboard doesn't work/windows doesn't boot, but this is one thing it CAN do 😛
