A friend of mine upgraded from IE 5 to 5.5 and now all of her programs take significantly longer to load, and it's slowed down Windows in general also (10 seconds or more for Control Panel to load). Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a way to fix it?
Also, she's been getting Windows login prompts now when before she didn't have it coming up. Under the Passwords section in Control Panel she only has one tab for "User Profiles" and not the one for "Change Passwords" so she could disable that.
