problems with the envision 780 monitor....

i've had this monitor for about two weeks, and just today it started making popping sounds a lot. The screen goes dead after these pops for about a second. It gets VERY annoying because it pops two or three times in a row sometimes. anyone else having this problem and/or know how to fix it? it wasn't doing this before today.
 
I got the Hot Deal ($100 after MIR at Stapless) for my neighbor.

No problems whatsoever. I'd return it for an exchange.

But - how is your line voltage? Any fluctuations? I notice it is susceptable to them. A UPS is very helpful.
 
hm...i don't think there's any fluctuations. it's weird...now i haven't had any popping for a while. it was popping like crazy at first. weird thing is i didn't change anything yesterday or the day before....
