Problems with steam

So im trying to play source and every time i click it i get this message

"the steam servers are currently to busy to handle your request, please try again later"

now this is happening since i installed it, i even uninstalled it and reinstalled again

don't know if it matter but im using oxs on my MBP

To answer the OP:
The problem with so many people buying shit in mass quantities over the past weekend is the servers really are too damn busy. And I can only recommend you keep checking back, like once an hour, until you download and can play your games.
Same thing happens anytime they have a major sale.
