Problems with Soundbaster Live

I just change around the placement of a few cards. now that I did this windows has seemed to lose the Soundblaster Live. it detects a Multimedia controller (I'm guessing this is the Sound Blaster) but when I run the driver install program form creative it says it can't find a soundblaster in the system. I got it to install once but it didn't install the drivers and at reboot it did the same thing

anyone got any ideas
 
try taking out the Live, and reseating it, also make sure it is not in the pci slot next to your video card (assuming that you have an agp video card) if at all possible, they tend to conflict.
 
reinstalled windows it works fine now. sucky part is its my roommates computer so he pissed because his settings are all changed. oh well
