Problems with Sony DSC-P51 Digital Camera

Well,

I just took about 25 pictures with my camera and I was looking through the
viewfinder when I took them and when I uploaded them to my computer they
were all black as night.

I have noticed that the lcd screen is showing NO images even though the
camera powers up and everything appears to function except no lcd image
and black pictures.

It's only a 2mb camera that I paid $250 for a year or so ago.

Can it be fixed or should I throw it away and go and buy another one?

Well I went out on the web and it appears that this model
has a big time history of the lcd going black and most people
said they just rapped the camera body and then the lcd came
back on.

I gave it a good pop on the side and the lcd came right on 🙂
