Problems with Sony CRX140S WideSpread???

I just diagnosed this as a bad CDRW. The drive won't spin the disc up, and clicks when it tries to. I heard a rumor that this was a common problem with this drive. Has anyone else run into this????

As far as I know, most 140E works without any problem. I think 140E and 140S are the exactly the same just the interface is different. You might wana test the SCSI settings, if it doesnt help take it back.
