Problems with sis735 chipset?

I have been having several problems with a customers computer. I've been buying the ECS K7S5A for the longest time without any problems, all of the computers were rock stable. But this computer is stubborn. I changed out that board thinking its the board. So I got this board which my friend recomended. It's like the sister board of the ECS, but he told me it's better.

Anyways, I set it up with the computer and put a 350W Codegen PSU with it and a Geforce 3 Ti 200. It has Crucial 512MB of PC133 memory and onboard sound. It keeps locking up in games like Counter-Strike and locking up in 3dmark 2001 SE. What can I do guys? I think I updated all of the drivers and yet it still doesn't work. 🙁 Help please!

sounds like a power issue to me. I always though PC Chips, ECS, and Amptron were all the same company. I believe your friend mislead you, you'd be much better off with the ECS variant of the board. but either way you'd probably need a better PSU. Codegens aren't terrible but you'd be better off with a quality 300+ watt PSU. I've had the best experience with sparkle power supplies, enlights and HEC's work too as do the more expensive power supply brands. all of those 300 watt power supplies can be had under 40 shipped from newegg.

edit: you could go with an Enhance PSU but they like to put noisy fans in them.

edit 2: did you look at that site you linked? Your vid card is not listed as supported. that must be one nasty board if it can't get a geforce or radeon card on the supported list.
