Problems with SATA hd and VNF3-250

hey! i just joined. I some help. Im having a ridiculous hard time installing my OS, windows xp professional, on my hard drive ( its a western digital 80gb SATA). I followed the little paper of instructions which came in the VNF3-250 mobo box, but it didnt work. After installing the new drivers from the floppy, and once windows setup is about to start, i get the blue screen of death. Im just wondering if anybody else had similar problems, and if they did, how did they fix it? I noticed a couple of people have my mobo and are using RAID, sooo... plz help!

I"d run memtest as a first step.

I've started doing this first off on all new builds.

You should post your full system specs and the error message you are getting.

Try reading the article at this link. It may help. It helped me with my ASUS board and XP install.
