I work at a university and we are using Banner Gold and webFOCUS and when we try to export some data to excel for example it does the action, opens excel with the data and closes immmediately. Now my bosses solution was to unistall SP2 on XP. It works fine then. But to me this is a huge security hole we don't need dealing with all this finacial information.
I was looking for some idea on what it might be or your guys thoughs. I more than likely won't get to play with this more till friday as i can't get a user to help me with it. I was going to turn macro security on low to see if that helped, as i know at the other place i worked we had to do that. What else do you guys think?
