Problems with preview pictures

A custumer has problems with getting the previews in the left part in my documents work right. It gets turned a little. Are there anywhere I can reset the settings?

could you elucidate futher &amp; also what OS??
 
Win98 se. The picture rotated around 20-30%. She had installed some kodak software for digital camera for not so far time ago. She didn't use it and uninstalled it. But now there isn't possible to view the preview on the left side anymore. Witch program has to be installed or redirect the pictures to to get it working?
