Problems with Photoshop 6 locking up?

Photoshop 6 keeps hard locking my system in win2k sp1.

I have:
- 384 megs ram
- p3 700
- raid drive 45g x2 w/ ntfs and 30gig quantum w/ fat32 on (i tried to use both as scratch drive and it seemed that the quantum lasted longer before locking.
- modified promise 66
- and so on

I've tried several times and it always locks really early forcing a hardware reset. I don't know if it's related to raid, cluster sizes or what. Any tips?
 
Great just uninstalled and installed from scratch and it's working great! Thanks again DefRef.
