decided to put a diamond monster fusion card i had laying around to power a 2nd monitor. When i put it in, windows fails to load. My controller card will detect my hdds, then it brings up the part where it shows the irqs, then it just freezes. I've tried all the slots adn another video card; no success.

Can anyone tell me why its not allowing me to put in another video card?
mobo is a Iwill kk266

Many old VGA cards aren't capable of running as a secondary display unit. Try setting the primary VGA preference to PCI (in BIOS); if that doesn't help, you need a different card there. Some of the old VGA's don't run in dual VGA setups at all.
