i'm using a usb sound card for my laptop and i can't adjust the main volume on the volume control panel in windows xp sp2. i can adjust the wave, and it'll work, but when i press the volume up/down on the keyboard, it makes the main volume go up and down. how do i make the buttons on the keyboard work with the wave volume? thanks

Yeah, I have that experience as well, it seems like digital passthrough isn't affected by the master volume. As for linking your keyboard with wave volume, you'll probably need a program like Girder to bind the keys to a given function.
