Problems with OpenBSD ports

trying to install from the ports tree i get these errors on every package when i run make

"/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 1429: missing `in' in for
cipher value in ${PROBLEMS}
"/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 1429: Missing dependency operator
"/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 1433: Need an operator
Fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue

any ideas?

I was asleep when this was posted. Sue me.

Anyhow, did you anoncvs update from the ports tree? If so, are you following 2.9 -release, -current, or -stable? If -release: Are you using the release ports tree? If -stable: Are you following the stable ports tree? If -current: Are you using the -current ports tree??

Yeah, I know, this is kind of silly. But the openbsd guys decided to have ports follow -current, so check out the FAQ for anoncvs. They should have an example of updating to OPENBSD_2_9_TRACKING_SWITCH or something which is what you should use if you follow -stable.

There are probably 100's of posts about this on the mailing list...
