I'm trying to get my onboard Realtek ALC883 (Azalia) sound to work.
Its a Gigabyte board and I used their "express install" to install all the drivers first, but that didn't work. I manually installed the MS UAA bus driver, and I can see that driver under the device manager. However, when I install the actual latest Realtek driver, I still get no sound. When I try to install the Realtek driver that came with the cd (an older version), I get an error telling me I need to install the Microsoft bus driver, despite having already installed it.
