Problems with ntvdm.exe and winword.exe crashing

I am trying to solve this problem for a client of mine. They are running XP home, with MSOffice XP. In the middle of a word doc, word will crash. Not while opening it, but after a couple min of being in word. Here are some error messages:

faulting application winword.exe, version 10.0.4219.0, faulting module hpzntp05.dll, version 2.128.0.0, fault address 0x00026153.

Hanging application ntvdm.exe, version 5.1.2600.1106, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.


Thx for any insight....
 
Is there any HP printer drivers loaded? Like for the computer or for a network printer? Try uninstalling any printers and see if it still crashes.
 
There are 2 HP printers. I never thought of that .dll being the issue. I will have to uninstall them and see if that solves the problem. Thx.
