Problems with News & Weather Widget on Jelly Bean? (Update: It works again!)

It worked fine for a week after installing Jelly Bean but since yesterday all I get is an error that it cannot connect.

Anyone else?

I assume you have a GSM Galaxy Nexus? Yea, something VERY weird is going on. Your GPS probably doesn't lock either.

I downloaded the GPS Test app. At first I had no luck with reception inside but then stepped outside and within 60 seconds was connected to 8 satellites with 33 feet of accuracy. So no real problem there.

Ive been having severe problems with GPS for the last couple of days. The fact that it has happened only to GSM versions of the Nexus without regard to location is extremely weird. No idea what is going on.

And people in that thread reporting the problem are also having trouble with the News and Weather. I don't use that so cannot comment if it works or not.

The app is working again as of this morning.
