Problems with newly built computer (App Crashes and Kernel-Power)

So I built a computer i this week, the parts are:
AMD Phenom x4 965 (Noctua NH-D14 cooler)
ASUS m4a89gtd (USB3 version)
Sapphire HD 5770
Corsair Tx-650w
OCZ Gold DDR3, 1600mhz, 8CL (OCZ3G1600LV6GK)
WD Caviar Blue 500gb

The problems started with Kernel-Power crashes, mostly when using multiple applications at once. But then the problem changed into constant application crashes, from games, browsers, even things like windows event viewer.

I have no boot issues, and all my parts are brand new. I have good cooling, I'm using NZXT Tempest EVO with all 6 case fans running at high speed + the two Noctua Fans on the cpu. I'm getting around 40 degrees celcius on my cpu, and around 30 on my motherboard on full load.

I first though the problem was the cpu, but I've been doing prime95 calculations for about an hour, and it doesn't seem to crash. I did do another one yesterday though, for 6-8hours, two of the four cores had failed.

I tried reinstalling windows 7 64bit, but the problem still persisted, then i installed 32bit, but it still persisted. I've tried to install windows xp, but an error stating hard disk corruption appeard, it said to use chkdsk, I did this twice, but no problem was found.

I have no access to other parts, to see if changing them will produce any other effect.

I'm really confused so I appreciate any help. Sorry if anything is unclear, or if i've missed anything, it's my first time asking for help.

Thanks in advance!
