Problems with New computer

Hello all,
Recently built a computer for the first time. I'm getting blue screens occasionally for various reasons (page fault, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, bad pool header) and games crash frequently. After reading this forum, I ran memtest all day today and that found no errors. Any ideas on what I could look at to fix these problems?

Antec Sonata case w/ Antec true power 380 W PS
AMD 64 3000+
MSI K8N Neo Platinum
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
WD 250 GB SATA HD
1GB of generic PC 3200 ram (Legacy electronics)
Audio is onboard
Pioneer DVR-108 DVD burner
Lite-ON SOHC-5232K combo drive
XP Pro SP2
 
Can you borrow somebody's else RAM just to test?

2nd, it could be the board also. I read some complaints with MSI lately.
