Hi I just recently purchased a Microsoft MN-700 801.11g wireless router and a Netgear USB 2.0 wireless adapter. I have the MN-700 downstairs hooked up to my external cable modem. Upstairs I have the wireless adapter plugged into my computer in my room. My signal strength is always excellent, but after a few hours, my wireless connection stops working completely. I have to unplug the usb cable and replug it to get the connection working again. I know it's not my internet connection since I check downstairs whenever it goes down. I've tried turning off security completely and it hasn't help. My old network ran on PNA and the computer plugged into the cable modem hasn't been reinstalled in several months. Would a clean install of both computers help or am I experiencing a known incompatiability between Microsoft's wireless router and netgear's adapter. Any help would be appreciated. In addition I have the logitech wireless MX Duo. Could that be cutting off my adapter?
