Hi Guys

I just recently bought one of Netgears networking kits for my small network. The card in my Celeron 550 works fine, but the other machine is a K6-2 550 running at 120*5 = 600mhz. The card in this won't work at all if the FSB is set at anything above 100mhz. The motherboard's a GA-5AX with an AladdinV chipset if that's any help - does this board support 1/4 PCI dividers anyone?

all help appreciated

I've used a LOT of the FA310TX cards. What I CAN tell you about them is that they WILL NOT tolerate an overclocked bus. I ended up getting Intel NIC's for the machines that I O/C'd. They don't seem to mind a 40 MHz bus speed.

I can't answer the MOBO question though...

Thanks for the reply - I guess I'll have to cut back to 100FSB for the time being, since I destroyed the bank account with the network kit....:(

cheers again
