Problems with Nero, best alternative?

I was burning a DVD by dropping the Video_TS folder in Nero Express and it gives me an error that the file reallocation has failed and that DVD may not be playable (and it isn't). What other programs could I try to get this thing to burn? I tried Nero Recode as well with no success.

InfraRecorder and CDBurnerXP are two free options that come to mind.

I've used both infrarecorder and cdburnerxp. Both work well. I'm currently using infrarecorder since it has a native x64 version.

ive been using covertxtodvd. works well going form any format (h.264, xvid, divx) to a dvd. its just drag and drop auto sets resolution and everythign so its quite nice and easy. Its not free though

You're going down the wrong path here. The problem is not with Nero, it is with the structure of the files in your VIDEO_TS folder. I would recommend FixVTS, which is a free download here:

Clone DVD will do a nice job of burning these folders
